? for anyone with kids in dance recitals (program related)

I may seriously consider doing this. I love photography and was editor-in-chief of my HS yearbook. Not to mention, I have 2 DD's in dance (my DS took tap for two years but stopped this year). Plus, our dance "studio" (the one I'm thinking of doing this for--DD12 actually takes at two studios) is run by the PTSA, through our school. I could probably tap the yearbook people for a printing place, possibly even get some older students to do some of the work. Now you've got me thinking...

If I decide to do something like this, would you mind if I PM'd you? I promise I won't do it the second week of May...

OP--Sorry for the hijack.
Sure, you can PM me & ask me any questions you want.

I could even send you a book if you wanted. I have a few left from last year. It's not huge - kind of the size of an elementary school yearbook.

It's time consuming, but once I set up the template the first year I just continue to use that. I save it to a CD, take it to the printer & he does the rest.

I was thinking the same thing about hijacking this thread, I feel bad - sorry OP!!!

My DD is a twirler and her group sells space on the back of our competition t-shirts. We pay $20.00 for good luck lines and we put "Point your toes, fix your arms; Have a blast!" Grandma put "Keep Twirling, keep shining little star"
This is a great fundraiser, we sell business card space for 100.00 and good luck lines for 20.00. So we make more than 1000.00 there and then a small profit selling the shirts.:)

Starting at 5 years old, we always purchased a 1/2 page ad in DD's dance recital program. We would include her picture & congratulations. She loved it! We have saved all the programs (about 6 of them).
