While cruisin' the net, I found a website about Scollay Sq. and wanted to share it with everyone. I decided to post a few pictures for everyone, maybe to help jog the memory and get someone going down memory lane. Now all these photo's, and more, can be found on this website: http://www.bambinomusical.com/Scollay/

Awesome photos! My mother use to tell me about going in there during prohibition. She knew all the "In" spots. She and my father also went to the burlesque houses and saw many of the famous strippers of the day.

It must have been a cool time to be alive. :)

Thnaks for that! It's really amazing to see how much the city has changed in such a short time.

This former Bostonian thanks you for sharing!

Now I have a certain song stuck in my head... the Scollay Sq. station was where Charlie's wife would hand him a sandwich but never a nickel so he could get off the train. :D
