This is the first year I am going. Please give me any pointers so that I don't miss anything, i.e. they sell special pins that you only get at one place. Thanks.

I am a former cast member through the college progam at walt disney world and worked the christmas party and think it is worth every penny! Especially gets you into the holiday spirit. Don't miss the SNOW on Main Street. The parade is fabulous too! If the christmas music doesn't make you smile ....NOTHING WILL! :rolleyes1 so great! Oh and the decorations and the tree lightings are so great!

If you can hold out, wait until the midnight showing of Celebrate the Season at the castle. There is hardly anybody there since the party ends as it starts.

Get to the park before the actual start of the party - I beleive they actually let people in a few hours earlier. Get in line for having your picture taken ASAP. The line becomes horribly long if you don't get in line right away!

You can get in as early as 4p with a ticket.
Also, if the lines are long for the pics, don't wait in them! From my experience, lines are much shorter during the parades. We hit the photo station at Hall of Presidents once during the first parade and didn't even wait five minutes.

We did MVMCP last December, and we loved it, loved it, loved it! It was terrific! They do sell pins for MVMCP--a different one for each night. Also, there is special merchandise (ornaments, T-shirts, etc.) and they are only on sale during the party.

Everything about MVMCP was magical! I hope you have a great time! :goodvibes

This is my first time too and these are my plans based on the wonderful tips I have gotten:

Arrive at MK at 4:00
We will probably do BTMR and Splash, maybe POC, Jungle Cruise and Aladdin.
Dinner at LTT at 5:55!
Done eating just as the party starts at 7:00
Get picture taken in Liberty Square
See 8:15 showing of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas during first parade
9:15 Wishes
10:45 for second parade
12:00 castle show

Will squeeze in a few rides inbetween times, like Buzz or Teacups or something, but not planning on a lot of riding. Just enjoying the entertainment, decorations and character hunting.

These are all based on last year's times, so hopefully they don't change it too much! I will be buying a pin and an ornament, maybe a t-shirt as commemorative items.

I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
