I know there was a post some time ago about rolling backpacks.
well, we just came back 6/24 and DH & I counted them. We were in parks for 7 days and only seen 3....Yes only 3...
so, for those traveling soon, don't worry

I also noticed a lot less wheelchairs than normal and to be honest strollers were no problem at all.

Sounds crazy but there were tons of kids at WDW, but I never once got hit with one nor was it any bother for me.
I actually felt quite sorry for the moms and dads that had to push that big double plastic stroller around the world. Must get real tiring fast.....
especially in the summer heat

But it's not as tiring as listening to a child whining :)

I agree with you, and we didn't see one rolling backpack.

As for the strollers, I never saw anybody get hit with one but my DH said that he could understand how it would happen because everyone with strollers would try to leave space between the stroller and the person in front of it, and someone would inevitably cut them right off. But just as a little disclaimer, we were typically able to avoid the really big crowds so maybe that made a difference.

I don't remember the posts about rolling back packs (were they for or against them?), but it sure is a pain to walk behind one!

I was on a crowded bus to the Marketplace, I was behind a family and the DW stopped short, plopped her rolling backpck on the ground behind her, and I fell right over it. I complained to her, she gave me a dirty look, picket it up and walked away. Didn't even ask me if I was hurt.

They are dangerous in a crowd.

Trust me. You dont want to bring it back up. :rotfl:

I am suprised they allow them. We attempted to bring a wagon once to a park...and was told out right that ANYTHING that you pull behind you is NOT allowed. Funny thing though...we called the park prior to going and asked about bringing the wagon...and was told no problem...It wasn't until we were entering the park that we were stopped and told no way. :goodvibes

Funny I came upon this topic. Sunday night I was at WISHES and counted 3 rolling backpacks and 1 rolling soft sided cooler! I only noticed it because the guy pulling the cooler nearly ran over my toes!
