Stormalong Bay: An approximate 3-acre-mini-water park reminiscent of a Nantucket Beach, belonging to both the Yacht & Beach Club Resorts.
*Contains 75,000 gallons of water consisting of three related bodies of water shared by a common filtration and water treatement system:
*Active Lagoon: 13,300 sq. ft. and 500,000 gallons
*Snorkel Lagoon: 6,500 sq. ft. and 200,000 gallons
*Quiet Lagoon: 2,000 sq. ft. and 50,000 gallons
*The large grain sand at the bottom of the lagoon is imported from Arizona and is an integral part of the pool's cleansing system.
Shipwreck: According to legend, a sailor named Stormalong ran his ship aground after being caught in a fierce storm. His vessel crashed into the shoreline, creating the pools and waterways of what is now Stormalong Bay. Today, the remains of the great vessel contain a water slide encompassed by the ship's mast which extends 150 feet into the air.
*Water Slide: Length of the water slide is 230 ft. with 110 ft. enclosed in tubing.
