I am just going to say
I would wait a couple of days to see if bookings free up. This obsession really worries me. I would also have a contingency plan. I would also have more than one day for essential bookings to choose from. I would also say to your family before you even go to Disney. Explaining them BOG is really popular and might not be able to get it. Do not build up excitement only for it to ruined. Also get your family to choose back options as well as the main ones.
If all else fails go to guest services and ask if they can get a table - it worked for me and that was for bog
