Thank you for your responses. I must admit I'm still a little confused. If I buy an AP voucher from the Disney Store, before I leave home, how do I activate it before I get to the resort?
For honeymoon I would pick either Boardwalk Inn with a Boardwalk view (if they can guarantee it - maybe only the villas have guaranteed BW views) or Polynesian water view. BW is great if you want to go out at night - or walk to lots of restaurants. Polynesian is great for lush vegetation and castle views - not as much activity as the BW. I stayed at the Grand Flo and while it was pretty, I wished I'd have stayed at either of the latter. You should be able to stay at either with your price in mind with an AP if AP rates come out (and they usually do). Another idea is to rent points from a DVC member for a 1 br at one of the DVC resorts. A 1br would be a lovely way to spend a honeymoon - it is a 2 room suite with a full kitchen and whirlpool garden tub that looks out to the bedroom. Friday and Saturday would cost lots more points than Sunday through Thursday but you could still come out even in the end. Check out the DVC board and point chart - keep in mind that points USUALLY rent for around $10 per point. Have fun!!
PS One bad thing about DVC is that maid service is not every day.

You would not need to activate it before you check in. Sometimes just showing the voucher is enough. Other times they may ask you to come show them the actual AP after you get it.
