For 2023, when are you booking your vacations? When typically is it the best time to book?

Hello Everyone,

I am a longtime lurker, first time poster. I also only been to Disneyland and Disney Paris, never WDW. I'd like to go for my Bday, and book sometime in late Jan early Feb. I would like my bf to attend but he complains about the price, so hoping by only having him paying for his half of hotel+flight and I pay for tickets entices him to go.

I will probably stay in the budget options, I can't see him wanting to stay in something more expensive. Other than family I can't ask anyone else, as I do not have friends at the moment. But I would rather not buy a Dior or Prada bag, when I can have a Disney Vacay for the same price! And I have no kids so I feel like I should take advantage of the fact that I can take time off in winter for this instead of having to wait till mid summer. My job has liberal unlimited vacay so I can do this.

When are you booking your trip for? And when would you say I should book if I want to have a stay late Jan-early Feb? I appreciate you all and the commentary !! :)

Always book your resort/package ASAP! You can always modify, apply a discount, or cancel at any time. If you book a package it's only a $200 deposit that is fully refundable up to 30 days in advance of your trip, so really nothing to lose! Better to get what you think you want now than have it not be available later.

For a more budget option, I would recommend checking out Pop Century. Rooms are renovated, skyliner access, the best value resort in my opinion!

Edit: 2023 stays can be booked as of today!

I appreciate this Emily! If, let's say, I booked a vacation today for january , id only pay a $200 deposit now? If lets say the whole vacay was $2000 I dont have to pay today, and this is including the whole package with tickets? Also, lets say I put his name down as the 2nd guest. Can I modify that if he decided not to want to come?

If you book a package today with resort and tickets, you would pay the $200 deposit and that's it! The rest would be due 30 days before your trip, and you can make payments whenever you want. And yes, you should be able to modify your reservation to either remove the second guest, or change to someone else, but you would likely have to call to do that rather than doing it online.

I deeply appreciate this Emily. Thank you SO much!!
