I know...........another question..........sorry!

When a menu says "for 2" like an app or a dessert & you are on the DDxP must you find someone within your party to split with? What I mean is, say I want a "for 2" app & no one else is interested in splitting it with me b/c they want to eat something else am I out of luck, or do all 4 of us get our own regardless if it is for 1 or for 2?

Up to the restaurant/server. Reports go both ways, and I've personally experienced it both ways.

Never hurts to ask, but don't bank on it.

Pretty much what Faldred said.

I have seen 3 different outcomes get reported on these boards:

1) The person has been able to get the "for 2" item for just themselves.
2) Two party members must use up their app/dessert part of their credit to order the item.
3) The "for 2" items were not allowed on the dining plan at all.

Our experiences have been split. Some places allowed us to order "for two" apps for one person (Kona wings), others were firm on the "for two" (Raglan Road scallops).

at Mama Melrose we were allowed to each order an appetizer even though hubby had chosen the "for 2" calamari.

Everywhere else we've eaten and ordered "for 2" anything we've been required to choose the item as counting as 2 people's choice on the deluxe plan. This included Coral Reef, Via Napoli, La Hacienda, and Grand Floridian.

Places where we've had one person be able to get the appetizers for two are Mama Melrose and Rose & Crown.

We've been refused at Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Sci Fi, 50's Prime Time, Whispering Canyon, Turf Club, Raglan Road, and Grand Floridian Cafe. We could get them, but two people had to order them and share.
