FOP Question

We were at Disney over Christmas week 2022 and we skipped AK. We are going back this year and we are going to go to AK. At HS we just got in line for ROTR before the park closed and waited for about 25 minutes each day we did it. Does this same strategy work for FOP? Never got to ride it before.

Yes the same strategy will work. I think the longest wait would be 40 minutes jumping on the line last minute, but usually 20 minutes or so.

We just returned from our trip. We got in line for FOP about 1.5 hours before close and waited maybe 40 minutes. I hate to wait, but it was worth it. I really like the ride. In general, this is a ride in which you can line up just before park close.

Thanks, we are going thanksgiving week this time. I don’t like going over the holidays, but we are on the kid’s schedules. Lol

That week is probably going to be busy but in theory your plan of getting in line before the park closes will work. I say in theory because I tried it one year, it was about 10 min. before park close and they had already shut the line down. Not a big deal since I only ride it maybe once every 3 or 4 trips but be aware they don't always keep those lines open.

Thanks for that tip. We almost ran into that with the second time we road ROTR. We watched Fantasmic and then went to the ride and the cast member said last call for the line.
