Footwear at Restaurants

Are there any restrictions on footwear at the restaurants, I was planning on wearing sandals and began to wonder if there was a dress code as far as this is concerned. We have PS's for Chef Mickey's, Rose & Crown and Mama Melroses's with the Fantasmic Dinner package. Thanks.

Yes you'll be fine in sandals. I'm sure there are folks on the boards who will be shocked that anyone would wear sandals to a restaurant, but far as I know, the restaurants aren't into checking out footwear...at least not yet!!!
BTW, we often see folks in sandals at higher end restaurants (like California Grill and Narcoosee's) so even if you change plans and opt for one of those, it won't be a problem.

The only restaurant that MAY frown on sandals is Victoria & Albert's but since I have never eaten there I don't know for sure.

I wonder about that--
Saw a fellow there once that had on shoes--but no socks!!! Also a fellow there who took off his jacket while he ate--no one said a word.

I wear sandals to the sit down restaurants in WDW but not flip flop types. I probably bring more shoes with me on vacation than most families.

me too. i told dh on this trip i might need one suitcase just for my shoes!

when going out at night for dinner or to PI i ALWAYS wear sandals. they are nice sandals though, not rubber flip flops or sports sandals. we frequently eat at upper end restaurants (not V+A though).
