I have not tried a pedicure on the ship, but I really love to have one done before leaving on vacation. $55 sounds like a steep price - most of the nail salons in our area offer them for around $30. Personally, I like to get one done just before leaving, that way the moment my shoes are off and my sandals are on I feel like I am really on vacation. Sometimes the ladies at the nail salon will paint little designs on the big toes - maybe I'll see if they can do Mickey ears... Which of course reminds me I need to figure out how to fit one in before we leave on Saturday!
Aaaahhhh - five more days and so much to do!!!

I'm not sure what colors yet..
Just my vice on the ship.My DD and I are getting the Mickey ears on WednesdayI'm not sure what colors yet..
I always have it done beforehand at home (but I'm a regular pedi-going gal; it's one of my very few vices... DexH calls them my million dollar toes....)
But the REASON that I would not have them done on the ship is that I find all of that walking on beaches, and/or water shoes does a number on my feet! I'd hate to spend $50 + $10 tip and then ruin my pretty toes the next day or two while dragging them through the sand or while snorkeling. Just my opinion!

For those that enjoy but don't want the sales pitch I am sure I read on the boards that when you check in and they have you fill the form out you can just write "no sales please" on the form and they will not bother you with sales talk. I forgot when I had my massage on the Magic in august but it was not too bad, she went through the product at the end and I said I would have to speak to my husband before deciding on any purchases (not strictly true but I am hopeless at just saying no thank you!)
