Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...

OHHH I am SOOO freaking annoyed right now.

I was making our favorite dinner tonight.

I mixed up my seasoning - chopped up and cooked my chicken. Diced my tomatoes and onions. I was at the very final stage - everything was assembled - my sauce made, chicken, onions, tomatoes cooked etc the last step is to pour in cream to finish the sauce then toss with linguine etc. So I pour in some cream and it's SOUR - curdled - stinky etc - I JUST bought it - had an expiration date of 8/20. In the garbage it went! I hadn't mixed with my linguine yet so I just kept that to the side and sent DH to the store quick for more cream and chicken so I could start over again.

Chop and cook more chicken, onions and tomatoes, reduce more chicken broth - mix up more seasonong- this time the cream is fine. I assemble it all - pour everything over the linginue and stir and HMM - Looks like I am a little sparse on the sauce so I grab the cream to add just a bit more and WHAM - I grabbed the WRONG FREAKING ONE and aded the curdled cream into my SECOND DINNER!!!!!!!!! WTH??? Why on EARTH did I not throw the curdled cream out right away?!?!?

I am BEYOND annoyed right now and sent DH out for some takeout finally. UG!!!!!!!!

Man! That's the pits. All that work! Ugh.

I recently bought some sour cream that was bad too. Exp. was supposed to be Aug.. I was P.O.ed. It was for tacos and tacos just aren't the same without it.

Anyway, hope the takeout was good.
