Hi All
Dh tells me he wouldn't "mind" dinner at V&A (yes, I married the opposite of a food snob, a food slob- so shoot me!!!!). Now, I love to cook and I love to watch other people cook (especially people who know how!). I would really enjoy the dinner more in the kitchen than in the dining room and I think Dh would as well (something interesting to watch and listen too). Would someone who has experienced V&A at the chefs table please tell me what you thought? How exotic is the menu? I don't necessarily need beef and potatos, but I'm not a fan of game or organ meat, either. Are other people seated at the table with you as well? Do the chefs interact with you? Are you able to ask questions about preparation methods (not as in, "how will you prepare my veal", but rather, "do you find this dish can be baked as well as grilled?)? How far in advance do you need to make your reservations? Finally, with wine, what is the general ballpark of the cost?
Thanks!
