Two days left and I haven't made the fancy spread sheet or a binder of plans. In fact, I'm not even packed! Not like me at all especially since I've spent hours reading threads on here. So let's just get real and talk food. I know there are loads of threads about food but food items change (and I'm running out of time) what three things do I NEED to eat next week?

Dole Whip...
beignets from the Mint Julip Bar
Ghirardelli Hot Fudge Sunday. (Though spendy)

where is the little red wagon? Are there several corn dogs available and these are the best?

Heading down Main Street, The Little Red Wagon is on the right, at the end of the street, right before The Plaza Inn, basically in front of the First Aid and Baby Care Center. I missed it my first several trips! It's really just a small red kind of stage-coach looking thing. Your other corn dog option is in DCA, down in Paradise Pier, on the right side, after Little Mermaid, before the restaurants. Its called Corn Dog Castle, I believe. Personally, I think they are a bit overcooked for my taste, but DD and DH love them!

Here is a list of all the current holiday treats. Enjoy I'd suggest the pomme frites at Cafe Orleans and a bowl of gumbo. And something from Jolly Holiday.

Totally embarrassed that I'm having to ask this... But how do I say the above bolded items? I always want to order them, but have no idea how to say them, and want to avoid looking like a dunce!

Beignet is "ben-yet," correct?

How in the world do I say pomme frites?!? They have sounded delicious since I first heard about them!

Beignet is close to ben-yay and pomme frites is like Pom free-te. (Pom like what cheerleaders use)

It depends a little on whether you want snacks foods, counter service foods, and/or table service items. This would be my list...

Snacks
-Mickey beignets and a Mint Julep from the Mint Julep Bar (DL, NOS)
-Dole Whip Float from Tiki Bar (DL, Adventureland)
-Oswald Sundae from Clarabelle's (DCA, BVS)

Counter Service
-Fried Chicken at the Plaza Inn (DL, Main Street)
-Na'wlins Salad at French Market (DL, NOS) or pretty much anything at the French Market
-Apple Pie Funnel Cake at Hungry Bear (DL, Critter Country)

Table Service
-Pomme Frites at Café Orleans (DL, NOS)
-Lobster Pad Thai Roll at Carthay Circle Lounge (DCA, BVS)
-Big Thunder Ranch BBQ (DL, Frontierland)

In DL and DCA, to me, all of the corndogs are the same. When in DL I use to go to the little red wagon but if its busy, its hard to find a place to seat around that area. Now I pretty much always go to the Stage Door Cafe to get my corndogs. At stage door they come with fries (little red wagon come with chips) and they have lots of outdoor seating at Stage Door.

In general, I don't like corndogs, but at DL the corndogs are incredible. :thumbsup2

I don't have anything to add because I'm taking notes on what everyone is saying for my upcoming trip in the new year:) just saying thanks!

As much as I hate to say it, check out the corn dogs before buying because they were the worst I've ever had. I choked down two greasy and tasteless bites before dropping it in a nearby garbage can.
It was a huge disappointment because I really like a good CD!

1) Monte Cristo sandwich from either Blue Bayou or Cafe Orleans.
2) Beignets from Ralph Brennans- they are much better than the ones in NOS.
3) Churro bites w/ chocolate dipping sauce at Cozy Cone

Runner up Snack: Chocolate Brownie Funnel Cake
Runner up CS: Chicken Fusilli at Red Rocketts Pizza Port

:santa:
