I just got off the phone and got my three events.

My CM did state that the cancellation policy had changed and you muct call directly and they would consider your reason for needing to cancel.

My friend is trying to book the Kitchen Conversations we wanted for November.

They were not currently taking reservations for the Japan Edo pairing...the gal on the phone said they weren't sure when the restaurant would be open. Am supposed to call back later for that. I will be calling back to book a P4TS on 11/3 anyway.

On the plus side she only took my credit card number once and didn't read the spiel for all the events before trying to book the next one. Her name was Gemini. Thanks wherever you are.

Thanks for the update on the pairing in Japan, TDC Nala. My CM just told me they were all sold out, which struck me as decidedly odd but my coffee hadn't kicked in and my brain was not moving very quickly.

I guess I'll just call back again in a day or two and see what happens.

I was told that the 10/22 Sake, Sushi, and Sashimi F&W Pairing event was not available.

Well, after getting the voicemail purgatory, I was on hold for over 20 minutes. But I managed to get:

Oct 12 South African Wine event
Oct 14 Sweet Sundays
Oct 14 Signature Dinner - California Grill

I totally missed out on both of the food and wine pairings I wanted:

Oct 15 Japan
Oct 19 Le Cellier

I'm happy I was at least able to get the Signature Dinner.

Edit to add:

Interesting about Japan. I was told it wasn't available, so I assumed that meant "sold out".
And my guy Casper told me he needed my card each time I booked something. Grrr.

Okay after almost 40 minutes on hold I got almost everything I wanted (Le Cellier on 11/2 was gone). So this is our first F&W and this is what we've got goin' on:

I'm really excited about the Regional Feast, I hope its really good!

Got PFTS 11/3.

At first all I got was all circuts busy, finally got thru. Was on hold forever. While on hold with house phone tried calling with cell, ant that took forever as well to just get in the cue.

As far as I know, the Sweet Sundays are held at the Odyssey Pavilion and include a brunch buffet and special desserts made by guest chefs. Ours on 11/4 is with Mindy Segal from Hot Chocolate in Chicago (I think that's where it's located).

After being put on hold for 20 minutes, told CMs at dining couldn't book F&W events , transferred, disconnected, back on hold for another 30 minutes, we finally got Signature lunch at Jiko on 9/30 and P4TS on 9/29!
I haven't been through anything that harrowing since the old days of booking breakfast at CRT!!
