need help for 2004 Oct.
I checked on DEB's site back to 1998 to 2003 and the F&WF has started on the 3rd SAT in Oct each year and ended 30 days later.

Anyone know for sure if the F&WF will start in 2004 on Oct 16 and end on NOV 14, 2004. OR start OCT23 and end NOV 21.

We like the first week of the F&WF and need to make ressies soon but need to know when it starts.

There's a thread on the Restaurant board saying that the festival will be longer next year, starting 10/01/04 - mostly due to licensing changes.

I don't know if that's entirely true or not, but it seems like it.

Deb's Guide has the dates as 10/16/04-11/14/04, but that isn't official as of yet. www.wdwig.com

I called the current WDW festival phone number and they didn't have the dates for the 2004 event yet. 407-WDW-FEST

Will have to wait and see!

Just noticed that Deb's site has been updated and it is reporting that the F&WF is starting on Oct 1, 2004!

Yea - I may be making my ressies tomorrow!

The 10/1 date is correct. Go to the main page of The DIS and look in the news section. You'll find a recent press release announcing the expanded dates for 2004.
