Food & Wine Question

I didn't see anything about it. I think it was called the Platinum pass? You got the preferred seating for Food & Wine.

I assume you are taking about the package where you had special seating during F&W and they brought stuff to you so you did not have to wait in line.
From what I have read there will be no such package this year - there were quite a few disappointed people

Yeah this is what I was talking about. Sorry to hear that, maybe they didnt sell enough last year to try it again.

I'm actually kind of disappointed in Disney about this. The first year they offered it, it was a good value, but it was the first year. There were a few kinks, and I don't recall them really advertising it well. Then, when people called to purchase it, different people were given conflicting information (is it one gift bag per person? Or one per room?)

Then, last year, the second year, when it went on sale, they hadn't even decided what was included in the package. People were calling to purchase it when it was announced it would be available, but again weren't being given consistent information about what was included. Some were being given the previous year's information. I think others were just being told "we don't know yet." I think eventually we found out the Illuminations Dessert Party and a "deminar" were included, but there was all this confusion about whether people could actually book the dates of those events in advance or not. Some said they did, others were told they couldn't book them in advance. Yet people were still falling over themselves to spend $200 per person to book it, without even knowing what it included.

It would have been nice if this year, they actually tried it again but decided what it included before offering it, and actually marketed it. I might have purchased it.

I had a friend working special events for Epcot who said premium package was a money loser. She's now at Legoland so I do not have any info on this year, but I expect the losses in the past were more than Disney was willing to continue to accept
