Food & Wine Pairing Question

I'm sure there must be a thread out there for people like me with F&W questions, but I can't fint it- so feel free to point me in the right direction. Ok, so the onyl thing I have ever done at the F&WF is the PFTS 2 years ago. I am trying to trim the budget a bit this trip, and just do one smaller (aka less expensive) event and then do a lot of snacking and drinking around the WS

So, I was thinking about the Food and Wine Pairing at the Living Seasn, Seas Salon on October 17th. Has anyone does this before? How was it? What exactly is the "Seas Salon"? Should I be expecting mostly/all seafood since it is at the Seas?

Nice event, nice locale (private room off of the Living Seas) - However - If you haven't already called, you may be out of luck......Most of the Food & Wine pairings have sold-out (probably due to that lower price you mentioned)....

Thanks for your help nasmith- I just called and was able to make a ressie for me and my mom on Oct 17!! I am so excited, and so glad I called! I got the NICEST CM I have ever had I think. Yay, I am excited!

The pairings @ Living Seas are usually Seafood. I've never done one as the person I attend with can't have seafood with wine but I would definitely try this one otherwise. We have done several others and they were wonderful. In years past they have changed the menu for each pairing at the Living Seas so the food was different for each one. It was the same way for Le Cellier. The others have a fixed menu for all the pairings. Italy did change theirs halfway through last years event.
