Food & Wine Festival Wine Walkabouts

I'm probably asking this prematurely, but how does the Australlian wine walkabout work, and are there any others?

Last year there were two different "wine walkabouts". There's the Australian one (which was located between Morocco and France last year) and there was also one for US wines. They both pretty much operate the same way, you pay a fee ($12/pp if I recall correctly) and you get to sample 4 different wines. Typically each of the four stations in a walkabout have a choice of 3 different wines and you select one of those to sample. My wife and I usually get something different at each station so we wind up trying 8 different wines.

I remember when the Australian one had real Australians to pour for you

Last year they were down to one Australian and a bunch of bored Disney castmembers.

We did it last year (and prior years) and had Australians at each station.
