Thank you everyone for the kind words!
Needless to say, I'm super excited!! We're looking at late October next year because we're a little obsessed with going on this cruise: Celebrity Equinox
And I don't think we'll be doing a Disney wedding
The thing is, everyone expects it of me. And I don't want to be that predictable. Plus I'd be more concerned about what kind of time everyone else is having and I wouldn't enjoy myself. Plus, he'd tolerate it, but it's not really something he wants. So we're looking around this area and I'll do a Bachelorette Party at Disney next year![]()
Gotta love the teens (well, not when speaking of kids, but when going to Disney, gotta love them).![]()
I'm a little late to the game but CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
And yay for being in the teens!![]()
I wasn't on all weekend.....
Congrats!!!!!!! Nice BlInG!!!!!!!![]()
Hi Kelly,
I found your PTR and am on board.
I used to be on the boards as "shebaxric" but to make a long story short, I got locked out due to non-use...That's what happens when you have a baby. But, I'm happy that you're going for another F&W extravaganza! I need to go back and read everything, but cannot wait! I hope you remember me.
Sorry, I would've PM'd, but I don't have enough posts yet.
OMG!!! I MISSED THE CULMINATION OF "ENGAGEMENT WATCH 2010!!" CONGRATULATIONS, WHAT A BEAUTIFUL RING!!
Your ring is beautiful!!
Congratulations!!
I don't blame ya one bit!! Disney Weddings, while beautiful, look like they could be stressful...like you said, you end up worrying about your guests, and since you are the Disney Expert, they will all be asking YOU questions, like you don't have enough going on!![]()
We are thinking we may do a Disney Vow Renewal at some point - that is so much more low-key than the first time around!
Love the idea of a Disney Bachelorette Party!!! That will be a blast!
Disney Bachelorette Party sounds like the funnest ever! It would make a GREAT PTR -- and TR!
I think that cruise also looks amazing. I have a lot of friends who went to Italy in high school and they NEVER stop talking about it. Definitely one of those experiences that change your life.
That's a smart choice. I really think it's important to spend time together during your engagement where you're NOT worrying about the wedding (especially moreso towards the end when things start getting crazy), but you really can't book anything or make official plans without knowing your date/venue. Around what date are you looking?
Kelly,
I may have missed it, but where are you planning to get married? I know it wasn't WDW, not to be predictable, right?
Also, if it's okay, I'll post a pic of Miss Madie here. She is wonderful, BTW. She'll be three months old on Saturday and is really the joy of my life. We're going to take her on her first trip to the World next October. She'll be sixteen months old at that time. We've never been during the Halloween season, I'm so excited!

Just wanted to say bye. I'll check in when I'm back.
CONGRATULATIONS!Your ring is beautiful!
Engagements and weddings are my favorite! Please do not leave out any details of your big day. I'm one of those people married for ions, yet, still watch those Bridezilla, Four Weddings, and, Say Yes to the dress shows!
My husband and I are still in the mental stages trying to get prepared to take our lil ones to WDW. We've gone prechildren a few times, loved it so much. Traveling with our kids frightens us. LOL BUT reading everyone on these boards is easing my fears slowly. Still just a joy to read and follow along. Then I saw your report about the food and wine, which is totally in our direction.![]()
Yay! Breakfast at the Wave sounds fantastic. It is really cool that you will at least be going down to Orlando for work well before your vacation starts, so that time will fly by sooo fast!!
We did the Behind the Seeds tour a few years ago. Definitely interesting if you're into alternative agriculture. Did I hear a rumor that they changed the Living with the Land ride? No more live person in the boats?Or am I just in need of some coffee this morning?

I didn't realize The Wave even served breakfast! I am curious...gotta go check out that menu.
Sounds like a very lovely day at Epcot!
