The line was all the way through Norway, curved down the side little road outside of Norway, curved back up and then through China. We we so hot and sweaty after making that walk.

Ouch. I'm sure that wasn't the sight you wanted to see after having to walk alllll they way to the World Showcase in the Florida sunshine.

I really miss this. I'm glad the characters are meeting people again but it was really cool to see the characters so randomly.

I do, too! While I never saw the cavalcades, I thought it was a great idea.

We spent a large chuck of time in here and enjoyed the food, drinks, merch, bathrooms and AC.

I'm sure this area was really nice after the hour wait for Frozen!
And how fun that someone recognized your costumes from the facebook group.

We ended up with a reservation saving us over $800 from our original reservation for the cabin.

She will be shocked to see John Paul. This will be the first time she sees Dominic, She hasn't been home since last October.

I enjoy the Frozen ride but my boys aren’t fussed so there’s no way they’d wait an hour for it. Well done you on sticking it out in the heat. I’m sure the cavalcades eased some of the time. They are so much fun to see. I hoped they would keep them.

The cavalcades were the only thing that helped. I'm guessing the walkways are too crowded for the cavalcades in Epcot.

It was what we were expecting after reading all the updates at that time. Limited options, no fast passes and social distancing all added to longer waits for some things.

I'm sure this area was really nice after the hour wait for Frozen!

The line was LONG. How long was the line you ask? Once we entered the line it stopped in China, all the way back to where the stores are. This is where we were standing at 10:56 am.

Yikes!

It was taken at 11:50 so we waited almost an hour. And guess what? It was the only ride we road the entire day.

Ok... so I guess it wasn't too bad. I guess the social distancing thing made it seem far worse than it was.

Boy, time is just flying by. Can you believe it's almost the end of September? I know everyone else is really busy right now and it will just get busier.

I am behind... I can't believe it's October and the 13th already!!! What is happening!!

I'm going to go ahead and say it now, this was not our best day. Never go to Epcot on a Saturday during Food and Wine.

I love the idea of Food and Wine, but it's so crowded, I almost not sure it is worth it.

Can you imagine them trying to do these in EPCOT now! They would never make it around. Too many people

derson Sister outfits from the day before. She asked if we were the ones she saw on the AP Facebook site. I confirmed that was us. She said she loved it and stated we were AP Facebook Famous. It was really nice to hear this. Most of the feedback I got was good, but it was great to hear it from a real person.

now she had found some rooms too. She priced out Cars and Lion King and Nemo. Nemo was only a little over $100 more and she was getting 50% off. She booked it for us. We ended up with a reservation saving us over $800 from our original reservation for the cabin. I still need to see what she can do for the extra 2 nights we have after AOA. I don't want to push my luck too much.

YEAH!!! That will be fun for sure.

We had a lot of fun doing the hunt for Olaf last December on our trip. I really love the hunts and am such a sucker for the prizes at the end!

Danielle's discount is a big help. She reminded me yesterday that as a salaried CM she saves 35%, I only get 20% with my AP. The holiday discount for CMs is 40% and just started, it will still be going on when we come visit.

Epcot- Saturday, October 10, 2020-Rain, Rain, Go Away

It's really sad that I'm just writing this and it was over 2 years ago. Oh well, I do enjoy reliving those Disney memories.

We were in France and it was time for some more food. Michelle and I headed to the F&W booth and Danielle headed into L'Artisan des Glaces. I got the LaVie en Rose Frozen Slushy and Michelle got some champagne and the Brioche Cake. As we were walking away to meet Danielle, the heavens opened up and it started raining. We tried to go to a little table under an overhang but we were still getting really wet. Here's my poor Slushy.

Right about the time Danielle walked out of the Ice Cream shop it was pouring. A CM came over to us and invited us to take cover in merchandise shop right next to Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie. This ended up being just the right spot. We were able to grab a table and finally enjoy or treats even if they were a little rained on.

By the time we finished our treats we were more relaxed having all had some liquid refreshment and the rain has stopped. We found Remi and moved onto Morocco.


Morocco was really deserted but it gave us the opportunity to look around and to have some more Photo Pass pictures taken. The CM really had us do some great poses and then we realized he never scanned a band, so we had to start over. The pictures were ok but I think the first set would have been better.








This would have been really good if we had not caught the lady in the blue shirt behind me.

I think Japan is probably Danielle's favorite pavilion. I think she could spend hours here looking in the store. While she was shopping I took some pictures around and looked for Remi.

We caught some entertainment in The American Adventure and found Remi.



It was getting latter in the afternoon and the walkways were getting more and more crowded. We were hot and feeling the press of the people.

When we made it to Italy Michelle and Danielle went for some wine while I found a place to sit in the shade next to a Bachelorette party. I got caught up on the LSU game and found out they had lost. I think the Florida Gators had a big game that day too and they lost also. Not a good day for either team.

We found Remi in Germany and China and made our way back to Canada. We had bypassed Remi and needed to find him. We had the hardest time finding him in Canada. He was all the way in the back where there are no open stores.




It was getting late and we needed to head to dinner at Beaches & Cream soon. We made our way to Port of Entry to get our prize. I think it was a cup left over from Flower & Garden. Michelle did some shopping and I think she got a few things. I'm pretty sure she picked up some stuff in Italy for Jimmy and the kids earlier in the day. Danielle had once again reached her breaking point. We needed to walk back to the front of the park to get our bags from the lockers and change clothes. We parked Danielle in Canada Far & Wide and made the walk back to the front. The ac was just what she needed.

Michelle used my camera to take a few photos as we made our way back to the front.








I do have some more to share as we walked to the front but it will have to wait for the next update along with our first meal at Beaches and Cream.
