FOOD, WINE, AND SANDERSON SISTERS OH MY!

We were all sad to see her go but since we'll be seeing her in 23 more sleeps it has helped to ease the pain.
Looks like an awesome visit with your sweet girl. It's so nice to be together with the whole family. :)

So exciting that you will see her again in less than a month!

Beaches and Cream always looks so delicious!! I'm not surprised you didn't have room for dessert, as they always seem so giant!!

I also adore that HOME pillow. I had mine shipped home on our trip in 2019, and it's my favorite!

You all squeezed so much fun into your daughter's visit!! The Belmont sounds amazing, and perfect for a big family get together. I had seen online that the Mississippi was low, but I didn't realize THAT low--wow!!!

Awesome that she made it back just in time for Fantasmic! I'm really excited for it to be back, too :) Hoping we'll manage to see it when we go in January.

It looks like a wonderful visit with your daughter and all the family!
It is really nice to have Fantasmic back! I hope I can see it in December!
Great pictures!

I'm honored that you thought of us. We have all watched the new Hocus Pocus, but just not together. The Friday night it aired we all watched it. Michelle came over with the kids, Brent was watching from his home in Austin and Danielle was watching in Orlando. We were texting each other, it was really a great family moments even if we were in 3 different states.
Every time the sisters did their wee walk I thought of you and the girls video 🤣. I really enjoyed both movies and love that you all watched the new one together while apart. My daughter and I used to do that with The Great British Bake Off when she lived in Denmark. It always made me feel closer to her.
You all had a fabulous visit with Danielle and all Denis’s family. Great fun seems to have been had by all 🥰

Sounds like it was a wonderful visit! I giggled when you said Danielle did not share her dinner. When you get the food you love after a long time away, you want it all!

I'm glad to hear she was able to get into the CM preview of Fantasmic. I wondered since I remembered it was a favorite of hers.

We need to go just to get dessert.

It really is perfect.

Great weekend. It took me a few days to recover. I'm sorry I missed out on seeing the USS Kidd but I had to work. I have never seen the water that low.

Awesome that she made it back just in time for Fantasmic! I'm really excited for it to be back, too :) Hoping we'll manage to see it when we go in January.

She saw it 3 days in a row. We're looking forward to all seeing it together.

We really had fun making that short video. That's so sweet that y'all had a show to watch together while apart. I'm happy she's much closer now.

We did have lots of family fun!

Yes she did!

I'm glad to hear she was able to get into the CM preview of Fantasmic. I wondered since I remembered it was a favorite of hers.

She ended up seeing it 3 nights in a row. She did her CM preview on Tuesday, one of her friends won the lottery preview on Wednesday but the ending was rained out and she saw it Thursday night for the official restart. She was very happy!

Hey Vanessa!

Being very intentional in taking a day off before I open up my next class. Love that I have a couple of hours to read some TRs and see what folks are up to :)

I remember the days of masks in the parks and yes, DTD was harder to control but I can't remember if they were mandatory or not outside? It seems like such a long time ago now. And so glad that's over!!

Such sweet Halloween costumes and such fun doing karaoke! YAY!!! Really loved the last updates and am all caught up. :)

Hey Vanessa!
Hello Liesa! Welcome Back!

Being very intentional in taking a day off before I open up my next class. Love that I have a couple of hours to read some TRs and see what folks are up to :)

I understand how busy you are and I'm just glad you're able to stop in.

This trip was full Covid protocol. Mask were worn everywhere except your room and when eating. So glad these days are gone.

Such sweet Halloween costumes and such fun doing karaoke! YAY!!! Really loved the last updates and am all caught up. :)

Thank you!

Sunday, October 11,2020-Animal Kingdom-Departure Day

Our last day had arrived all too soon. We would all be flying home this afternoon after playing in Animal Kingdom. Michelle had a 5:20 p.m. flight with a ME pick up of 2 p.m. Danielle and I had a 6:15 p.m. flight with a ME pick up of 3 p.m.. Originally AK was opening at 8 but it had been bumped up to 7 a.m.. We all had to get ourselves ready and pack our bags before leaving for the park

I was the first awake which is the norm. I take the longest to get ready but I'm also usually the first one ready. I tried rushing the girls along and Michelle asked why I was rushing them. I reminded her that the park opens at 7 not 8 today, of course this was when I realized she really did not hear what I said the night before when I asked her if she wanted to get up earlier for the earlier opening.

We got our stuff together and left it with bag services and hurried to catch the bus. We were walking in about 7:42 a.m. so not too bad.

The park didn't look to crowded when we entered.

We headed straight to Pandora and FOP along with everyone else.

Once we got to FOP we found the line and followed it to find the end. It stretched over the bridge at the back entrance to Pandora, past Festival of the Lion King and all the way to Africa.

Getting to the park after opening was not a good thing.

At this point we decided we really didn't need to ride FOP. The line for Kilimanjaro Safaris had not opened yet so we enjoyed the empty Africa while we waiting for the line to open.

Kilimanjaro Safaris opened right at 8 and we joined the line. We didn't wait long and actually a really good Safari. The animals were awake and active, except for the lions.

We were very hungry after our journey through Africa and grabbed some biscuit sandwiches and fruit from the Harambe Fruit Market. Food options were very limited at this time in the park.

Danielle was already making use of the neck fans.

After filling our bellies we headed to Asia and passed by the backside of the Tree of Life.

Up next will be our adventures in Africa.

Life update time.

I'm so sorry I haven't been able to update as often as I would like but we have been really busy.

I have been hoping that Michelle would be able to get on the trip report but her life is even busier than mine. She took a new job back in the summer and no longer works from home. Working outside the home and tackling a new challenging job has really been a lot for her. She is also adding to her family. Yes, Michelle is pregnant and due in May. This was a BIG SURPRISE for all of us but we're excited to welcome another little one and guess what? It's another boy! She is going to have 3 boys.

Our trip to visit Danielle is only days away. She just called me to let me know she received an email from Bob Iger announcing he was taking back over. She was very excited. I'm sure everyone has heard the news too. I'm excited to see what changes he will make.

We all also getting ready for Thanksgiving. I have stepped up and offered to host for our family here in the surrounding area. It looks like we'll have about 20 for dinner. I'm felling the stress of trying to get everything together for our trip and host Thanksgiving. I'm also trying to get my Christmas decorations up. If I don't get them done now I won't have time until the middle of December.

We have also made more changes to our trip. Sadly Gia will not be coming with us. She made the decision not too come because she's worried about missing school. She's in 7th grade now and a pre-teen, enough said. We're all going to miss her and really wanted this to be a big family trip. Danielle finally looked to see if she could get a discount for our last 2 nights and found one. We had a regular room at Coronado with my AP discount and now have 2 nights at Riverside with Danielle's 50% off CM discount. It also now looks like John Paul will not be staying the extra 2 nights with us. We may have VIP tickets to the SEC Championship game on December 3rd. The company Dennis works for was given a VIP package from Dr. Pepper. The Vice-President is an Ole Miss fan and since they aren't playing in the game he didn't want the package so he offered it to Dennis. The company has an NLI deal with an LSU player and an Ole Miss player. Of course we're not going to turn that down. Dennis' information has been given to the Dr. Pepper rep but he hasn't seen anything yet so I won't believe it until I see it. If we do have the package we'll leave Disney very early Saturday morning and drive to Atlanta for the game. The package has a room included. We'll only be using it for Saturday night and drive back home on Sunday morning. That's going to be a lot of driving but it will be worth it to see LSU play in the game. We're all still shocked that they have made it to the game. I'm so glad I set up a house sitter for while we are gone since we'll be gone longer and I have some Christmas packages still coming.

I've cancelled all our extra dining. Danielle got her schedule and she is working on Thanksgiving. She got her vacation days approved for Sunday and Monday and has Tuesday and Wednesday as her regular days off. This means she will be with us for 4 park days. She will work on Thursday and Friday but should be able to do the Candlelight Processional with us. Thursday Michelle, Jimmy and the kids leave and we move resorts. Dennis plans on taking Danielle's car and getting her an oil change and making sure it's still operating good. Looks like I'll be doing some laundry since I won't have much time for that once we get home since we're back to work on Monday.

I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving with family and friends.

That line was bananasa! I would have opted out too.

Definitely slim pickings back then. I am glad it has improved somewhat.

Yay!!!!! So exciting! As a mom of three boys I can tell you she will be in for lots of fun. Here's to a healthy pregnancy. :goodvibes

Let's hope he will actually make changes. I am a little wary considering he is the one who picked Chapek.

So you are hosting Thanksgiving, then driving to Florida? And getting ready for Christmas? You are going to be one busy woman!
