Are the dates out yet?
I know everyone loves the Food & Wine festival, but is it worth it to plan a trip around?
We want to do an adult only trip but we don't know if we are going to go to Disney World or DCL.

Thanks!
nat

Food & Wine at WDW starts on 10/1 this year and runs until November 14.

Oh, and as to the second part of your question - Yes, it is worth planning a trip around. We've been doing that for the past ~5 years.

Cool, Thanks!

We don't really 'do' halloween, but thought we may do Mickey's Not so Scary at the same time.
We'll have a park ticket from the 'Give a Day, Get a Day' promo and then thought we could go to the Party because it's less expensive then a whole day part ticket. Isn't around $45 for the party ticket?

Thanks!

I don't believe you'd be able to get party tickets from the promo voucher, even though it does cost less than a one day ticket. Mostly because it's possible that certain party dates will be sold out (the closer you get to Halloween), you have to exchange your volunteer voucher in person.

Sorry, I didn't mean I wanted to use my voucher for the party ticket.
I was just saying we'll spend the day in a park one day with our 'get a day' ticket. Then the next day we'll just buy a ticket to the party.
That way we get two days and the party ticket will be less expensive then a full day ticket.

Boy did I read it wrong, then!
Get into the park at 4pm on the party ticket, and you're good to go. :thumbsup2

We are booked that very last weekend of Food and Wine HOPING that we'll get to see Osborne lights for the first time while we are there then too, do you think they will be on then??:confused3

I love going during the Food and Wine Festival, and have been going annually since 2004. I may have to skip it this fall due to some big trips in the summer and Nov./Dec.
