Food Stores nearby???

We are picking our rental car up at the airport and want to stop at a foodstore before we check into disney..

I am looking for a regular foodstore or walmart type store. Nothing fancy.
Are there any on the way? Is there a list somewhere of stores near disney?

I tried searching but couldn't find anything specific...

I'd like to pickup water bottles, snack food, breakfast stuff, etc..

We usually stop at the Walmart Super Center on South John Young Parkway. You can mapquest directions from the airport. It's just your basic store... nothing fancy.

There is a super WalMart about 10 mins from DTD. Heading out of DTD on Hotel Plaza Blvd, turn left @ light on Apopka Vineland, first right on Palm Parkway. WM is a few miles up on the left. If you keep going, you'll also bump into a great Whole Foods market on the right.

Coming off rte 4, take DTD exit, right off exit, go straight past Crossroads to next light, Right on Palm Pkway...

Just remembered... for a decent selection of drinks/snacks and basic food stuff a little closer, go straight past Palm Pkway to Walgreens about 1/4 mi. on left.

Hello-

If you use the maingate entrance right off the highway exit and turn right onto Palm Parkway instead of left into Disney(mcdonalds on the corner) there is a nice small grocery store on the left hand side of the road. The prices are pretty good for Florida. This is a lot closer than the Walmart, even though the Walmart has awesome photo development prices ( 1 hour 6 cents a print usually) and I get my photos developed the day before we leave because I can't get them that cheap at home. They also have some nice shirts and disney stuff, good for all the people you should bring gifts home for,like teachers and babysitters etc... but they don't rank the high prices for unique Disney items from the parks like nieces and grandmas.

The super Wal Mart is nearby,not far from DTD. Also, there are a few grocery stores listed in the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World with exact addresses. Do not have my book right here at the moment but if you have one consult that. Otherwise, if you bring a GPS you can search and find something as well.
