Food Stores in Cary, NC?

Hi, I am looking to purchase a gift card for a family who live in Cary. Where do families shop in this town? They have 3 kids, so although I am looking for the food store with the best prices, also want it to be clean and good meat and produce. I know Trader Joes and Whole Foods are there, but I am looking for a store that offers specials and values. Thanks!

I shop at Kroger and Harris Teeter. It just depends upon the sales and coupon specials. They both offer specials but I'd say Kroger has lower overall prices. My neighbor shops at Lowe's Food. There is Food Lion as well, but I don't care for that one.
If you want a nice natural or more specialty store, there is Fresh Market. Pricey, but a really nice store.

There is also an Aldi in Cary on NW Maynard Rd.

It also depends on what side of Cary they live on. I shop in Harris Teeter mostly, but I also shop at Lowes Grocery store, Food Lion and the new Walmart Market. Though I don't live in Cary proper, I do live in Morrisville. Though I did live in Cary at one time.

Harris Teeter would come closest to what you are looking for, IMHO.

They are expensive overall but have fantastic weekly specials, lots of BOGOs, double coupons, great produce and meats, nice bakeries, wide selection in all areas. They are one of the most popular grocery stores in Cary and there are MANY HT's in Cary. I would love to receive a GC for HT.

I shop at Harris Teeter, and love it! But there are several stores around, as mentioned above!
