Food Stations for Full Marathon

Just to be sure, what are you training with. I know there are a few European brands you will not find here.

Duane your too funny :lmao:

Ahh Charles, I too have accepted food from strangers. :scared1: Not like me at all. But it too was individually wrapped and it was a mint. They heard me as we were heading on the path to the S&D say to my spectating DH that I wasn't feeling good and asked if I had taken the chocolate offered at MGM, I had passed on it cause like Duane it sounded disgusting by that point (2008 back of packer here). So they offered me a mint and I sucked on that for a bit. If nothing else it took my mind off of feeling and refocused me.

I'm tucking some of the same mints (lifesaver wintergreen) into my spibelt for the full.

Another food/beverage thing. Those post-race sodas. I swear the Sprite the wonderful angel gave me (heading to the refreshment tent, think it was after the water table and before refreshment tent)....anyways I swear it was COLD. They were just bringing more out. That soda was the best thing on earth! I don't typically drink soda and before that I probably only had an odd rootbeer float. Now when it's hot I crave and day dream about a "heavy on the ice please" Sprite from Mickey D post-training.

You know you can most likely place in your checked bags in a zip lock bag. Put it on top nice and neat, that way if something triggers a closer look, they can grab everything easily. Also the bag will contain any gel that decides to leak in flight.

Otherwise, good luck
