food spoilage question....

I accidentally left 2 boxes of frozen spinach out overnight. I was going to make spinach dip.

Do you think it is still good?? I think yes, cause it is really just vegetables.........

Funny, DH just got home from work and I asked him....and the first thing he said was "I am surprised you didn't already ask your disney board people".....

I'm going to guess and say yes. The raw spinach at the grocery store isn't kept very cold. I think that case is slightly refrigerated, but it's not like the milk case.

Was it still cold at all when you got up? If so, and if it doesn't smell or look odd, then I'd definitely use it.

If it was frozen and you had just left it over night, it should be good. How was the texture and smell of it when you found it in the morning? If it is cold where you live during the evenings, I would go ahead and use it.

it wasn't warm to the touch and not really cold.....kinda room temperature.....I didn't smell it yet....I think it will be alright.....I just really want my spinach dip!!!!!

Well, I just got done making the spinach dip....and it seemed ok.....
We will know for sure when we eat it in a few hours....
