Adult platter - eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and a biscuit

Electric Umbrella - Epcot
This was just "eh". Edible, but nothing great.

Kids meal - cheeseburger (cheese on the bottom bun instead of on the burger), fries and applesauce
IMG_4041Small.jpg

Double Cheeseburger - cheese again was stuck on the bun
IMG_4042Small.jpg

Norway - Epcot

Schoolbread! Yummy! We never had the kind with the white glaze, but this was very good. I had read here on the DIS people thought it was caramel on top, but it didn't taste like tha to me - just a sugary glaze.

LeCellier - Canada - Epcot

We REALLY enjoyed our meal here. The food was all very good (except the one dessert that my DH didn't care for-see below), and the service was excellent!

Kids Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup

A not so great picture of the bread - Pretzel bread, multi-grain and sourdough.
IMG_4218Small.jpg

New York Strip Steak - with bercy butter, balsamic red onions, watercress, and roasted Yukon potatoes
IMG_4230Small.jpg

Not on all allears.net menu or the wdwinfo.com menus, this was a Coffee Crusted Prime Rib. The coffee taste was not very strong, but gave it a great flavor! Paired with the infamous Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes.
IMG_4232Small.jpg

Chocolate "Moose" - much to my surprise, my DH didn't enjoy this dessert. He loves chocolate, but just didn't like this particular kind, or texture. I had one of the maple antlers and it was great!

Maple Creme Brulee

Does this count?

MCO Romano's Macaroni Grill Lunch - We really enjoy this restaurant and were happy to find it at MCO. Service didn't compare to the Disney norm, nor did the atmosphere, but the food was tasty.

Sicilian Pizza - Sweet Italian sausage, pepperoni, fontina and mozzarella cheeses baked with a spicy marinara sauce and topped with basil. $9.99

IMG_4376Small.jpg

Penne Rustica - Imported penne pasta with shrimp, grilled chicken, and smoked prosciutto baked under a golden crust of Parmesan cheese $12.79

(this one is without the shrimp)

Kids Mac & Cheese - $5.29

That's all my food pics from the November trip. We are going back in just 16 days, I'll return with more food pictures for everyone! :yay:

This again was my son's choice. He is so much more of a foodie than me! I think if I ate sushi, this would have been a good choice.

Bread basket, spaghetti and veal meatballs (Husband LOVED it) and ok, here is the lasagna also. I know so many here love love the lasagna, I was not impressed. It was a bit flat tasting and the lasagna noodles on the limp side, while I prefer al dente.

I thought the ham was very tasty. There was also some sort of orange cream cheesy spread for your bagels ect that was tasty. DS did not like the salmon.

Breakfast with Pooh and Friends. I highly recommend this for a couple reasons. I loved loved loved the food! THe atmosphere was great! ANd the price wasn't too shabby for a character meal. We did Chef mickeys (which I will be hunting down the pics too at some point to post) and I did prefer the food at CP better. Not by a huge vote, but I prefered location and experience at CP. If you haven't done Chef Mickeys, then by all means do it! but if it's a choice out of the 2, I pick CP.

Fruit/cold part of buffet. Those strawberries were delicious. They aren't in season way up north and it was refreshing to see some great fruits!! ;) Downwards was just more fruits, watermelon and such.

Part of the hot buffet, Lots of bacon, sausanges, corn beef hash casserol (good, just really salty as one would assume!) oh and some gravy for buiscuits I guess. They also had some great potatoes here.

n683365187_5183989_566.jpg

Part of the kids buffet. It was just a few things, not that I was expecting much more. Breakfast pizza, I didn't try but looked good, and the other dish is a form of french toast. It was delicious. Sugary of course, but it was really really good!

Pooh's Breakfast Lasagna. It was really good. Sweet, very banana-y. DH loved it!
n683365187_5183990_857.jpg

One of 2 of my plates. Very top, byond the strawberry is POohs lasagna, Corn beef hash, cheesy potatoes (so yummy!:thumbsup2 ), scrambled eggs, Corned beef hash omelet I think:confused: , and of course bacon underneath.

n683365187_5183992_1456.jpg

The critics loved it ;)

Oh yes-just wanted to add that they gave kids the regular CS style cups with lids with OJ, our glasses were never empty and always refilled. The cups for the kids were great since they are 3 and 4 and lids are great!!! ;) We were also celebrating their birthdays and they had mickey sparkles on the table and they got bday cards and cupcakes....

I needed to find a Maryland person to ask this --Are there any good crabcakes anywhere on the property? My dh loves them (we were both born and raised in the Baltimore area) but I seldom order them in restaurants because no one, and I mean no one, knows how to make them right, even if they do put MD in the entree name. So, do you have any suggestions?

Well my husband and I are from Jersey but we have Bobby Chez crab cakes around us and they are very good so we know a good crab cake..well I should say Tim does. I will take a bite but that is about it. Anyway he loved the crab cake at the Brown Derby in DHS.

Looks weird but he loved it. I had a bite and thought it was good too.

Nine Dragons:
Chicken Consomme with Pork Dumplings
WDWNov2008121.jpg

I wasn't feeling well that night, my sister and I hadn't eaten, we were by China so my sister suggested soup for me...it hit the spot, and warmed the tummy...and it was good too!

my sister decided to just have an appetizer and got the potstickers with the Cilantro-Soy dipping sauce
WDWNov2008122.jpg

my sister let my have a small bite and I experienced severe food envy :rotfl: very good stuff!

Akershus, breakfast

fruit and pastries

hot plate (for 1 person! well, i'm sure this is their 2 person plate, and they don't have one set for just 1 person!)

boma! sorry - i can't remember everything because these were taken back in september.

first plate. clockwise from bottom: mixed greens with some sort of apple vinaigrette, some sort of cold cous cous, salad with chili cilantro vinaigrette, and chicken pepper pot soup. the soup was AWESOME!!! i even found the recipe for it when i got back home.

05.jpg

second plate (my plate is on the right). clockwise from bottom: some sort of meatball thing (i don't remember liking it), coconut rice, cornbread, prime rib with BBQ sauce, salmon with a crust (pistachio?) on it, another kind of rice (can't remember what kind!), potatoes with afritude, either green beans or asparagus (i can't remember which!), another kind of cous cous, grilled veggies. that soup is ginger carrot soup.

06.jpg

dessert plate (mine is on the right). clockwise from bottom: pineapple wedge, zebra dome, some kind of creamy thing (i don't remember what it was but i'm thinking it was coffee-flavored), bread pudding with vanilla sauce, a custardy-type thing with a strawberry, and in the middle upside down pineapple white chocolate cheesecake. i LOVED the zebra domes and the cheesecake!
