I am working out like a mad woman and not loosing the weight. I have started working with a trainer and she wants me to start tracking everything I eat to see if I am getting enough calories (I know backwards huh!) But the ones that I am finding that are free just don't cut it. Is anyone here using one and how do you like it?

Thanks!!!

Have you tried Sparkpeople.com? It is a great free program and I love the food and fitness trackers.

I LOVE sparkpeople. You have to configure it to how it will work best for you and inputing the foods you normally eat is a pain. Once you do its awesome. They also have a bunch of foods already entered, but I always use the ones I entered for the foods I eat often. You can even track exercise and water there.

They also have an awesome recipe calculator. Its the best I've found for figuring out the calories per serving of my favorite recipes (it helps with Weight Watcher's too - in figuring out the points of my favorite recipes). You just enter the ingredients your using, the number of portions - I usually break the recipe down into 1/2 or 1 cup servings and gives you the nutritional info for each serving. Then you save it you have the points ready for the next time you make that dish.

I agree, sparkpeople is good also fitday .com

There is nothing 100% spot on, but these sites do let you input specific foods you eat. I figure as long as I am close with what I am doing the site is a wonderful tool. Both sites may seem a bit labor intensive at first, but after a short time it is not that bad. I find myself eating similar things and the sites allow for this in the respective categories.

Let us know what you decide.

Thank you! I started with sparkpeople last night and then again with todays food intake. All I can say is how am I staying awak! I ate a whopping 1300 callories today. I need to figure out a way to get the number up and still eat things that are right for me. Off to read some posts to get some ideas.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
