Food offerings at the Concierge Club Level?

We are staying at the Animal Kingdom Concierge for our trip this fall. I want to do the basic dining plan. I was thinking of doing a sit down for dinner every night, and a counter service for lunch every day. I was wondering if the food offerings at the concierge would be enough to do breakfast every morning? We are all pretty light eaters in the morining. Normally I just have a piece of fruit and some yogurt, and my daughter is happy with some cold cereal. I am hoping this will work for breakfast, please let me know what you think. Thanks so much,
Jeanina

We just stayed AKL concierge in September. We didn't take advantage of it as much as we should've, it really was great.
Breakfast was a nice spread of pastries, bagels, yogurt, etc... The wonderful Jambo Juice that is available at Boma is also there, yum!! My favorite time of day was the late afternoon offerings. They have great African inspired appetizers and the best kettle chips you will ever have! There is also iced tea, soda and wine. At night they have pastries and chocolates available.
We were there for our honeymoon and I don't know if we will ever be able to swing the concierge again, but it was a wonderful experience!

Oh and you MUST take advantage of the Sunrise Safari that is available to only concierge guests. It was an amazing opportunity.

We stayed AKL CL in January and ate breakfast there when we didn't have a character breakfast planned. There were cold and hot cereals (oatmeal, quinoa), pastries, fruit and yogurt, along with milk, juice, coffee and soft drinks if you asked for them. We are not big breakfast eaters, and it was plenty for us.

We liked the late afternoon offerings a lot as well, and the kids loved the dessert choices!

This may be more than you want, however, here's the AM offering at the YC CL last November. While it's not the AKL CL, most CL offerings are very similar.

There are several stations offering various items such as fresh cut up fruit:

Here's a typical breakfast for us during the trip. We were attending the IF&WF and saved our eating for the WS!

You should be able to meet your breakfast requirements with no problems.

:worship: Thank you! We will be at YC in April and love seeing the pics of the offerings.

Thanks for sharing!:woohoo:

We stayed 4 nights at the AKL CL and a week at the Poly CL and they had oatmeal w/ toppings, bagels, fruit, cereals and danishes...it was ok for us for three days but then I was jonesing for protein and I needed my eggs and sausage links.

We have done a 10 day vacation at akl with the club level. We only went to Boma for breakfast one time. The rest of the time we ate at the cl. My kids love fruit so this worked great for us. There was all kinds of muffins and pastries, fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal and juices. We also do the dp and use the cs for lunch and ts for dinner. Also my son loves milk. If we had tried to find a counter service breakfast for the kids it could not have been better than the lounge.
