I am interested in booking this event - as we have kids with us, party for the senses is too expensive. Can you get kids meals at the food n wine pairing events or is it for adults only ?

The Food & Wine Pairings are limited capacity events. Everyone pays the same, and everyone gets the same food courses and the same wines.
Even for adults, I would only recommend the Food & Wine Pairings for people who enjoy a wide variety of different meats, seafood, seasonings, and styles of preparation. And the Pairings are only worthwhile for people who enjoy wine.
I have seen teenagers at these events. They don't get the wine. But they're not meant for small kids. The full price would be paid for them, which won't help if they don't like the food, and they might get bored; they're very talky events.
Personally I would not bring children under 13 or so to the Party for the Senses either.

Everything is preset, no menus to choose items from, definately no children's menus. The events are really meant for adults only. When you look at disneyworld.com, you will see family events listed..you may want to check out some of those.
If you and hubby would like to attend some of the adult events, a disney kids club or an in room sitter may be your best options. During food/wine fest we use Kids night out for our grandaughter. They are excellent, and worth every penny.
