We are staying at Wilderness Lodge soon.
I was wondering if they offer the following items at the food shops:

-wonder bread
-bananas
-packets of peanut butter and jam
-plastic knives
-juice boxes

thanks!

Yes to all.

Also milk, juice, and microwave items - There is a DVC at the WL - so items, (pricey), to "cook" in the DVC are available.
Plus the milk in the gift shop is less expensive than the CS !

DansDad - are you a Chicago Indians fan?
If so, Yeah - Go Indians ! ;)

If I'm not mistaken, the bananas were at least $1 each. So definitely pricey. In the past, I have packed fruit in my suitcase in a shoe box to survive the trip down.

Oh ok. Just to clarify, where are the prices better? At the gift shop or at Roaring fork? Or is there a third option?
Also, I was told by someone that there is no Wonder bread type bread. Do you know what the loaves of bread are like? My son is kind of picky.

thanks :)

Not sure of the brand of bread
You can order food delivered to your resort from shopping services.
We Go Shop is one of those services.

Would your son like other breads?
What about crackers for PB&J ?

Usually as long as it is fairly plain white bread (no seats or anything ) then he is fine.
crackers could probably work too, good idea.

They do have plain white bread. I’ve never paid attention to brand as I don’t buy it. WL has a pretty good food selection as mentioned because they have DVC. The resort shop is cheaper than buying at food court.
I throw easily packable items in my suitcase for breakfast. Bag of bagels, instant oatmeal packets. And supplement with things from resort store- cream cheese, milk, water, etc. It is more expensive than a supermarket, but the delivery fee for ordering online from We Go type stores makes it pretty much the same I think.

Why not just put a jar of peanut butter and jelly, plastic silverware, etc in your suitcase? Just buy bread there.

You should be able to buy individual peanut butter cups at the grocery store. If I recall they are made by Jif an come in a box with either 3 or 4 cups to a box available at the peanut butter aisle.

Sorry, meant to say seeds above (not seats)
We are only bringing carry on bags so a jar of peanut butter is a no-go. I will look for the small peanut butter packets because according to TSA PB is allowed if it conforms to 3-1-1 rule (or whatever those numbers are).
We are only at WDW for a few days so I did the math and the delivery fee for groceries makes it more expensive then if we just buy the few things we need for the few days we are there.
The bread is the trickiest piece because my son LOVES sandwiches so will likely eat many of these and I can't really pack a whole loaf of bread with me and have room for clothes, etc.
I have packed a couple plastic knives, spoons and small bowl.

You should be able to get plastic utensils, plates and small bowls at your food court. Also at our food court (AS Sports) there were small packets of jelly out with the other condiments. You should have no problem getting a loaf of bread at the store at your resort.
