Are there any WDW restaurants that still sell snacks or meals in souvenier (sp?) packages, cups, etc? I'd love a list if we could get one going.

Each Park sells there Popcorn In a big Container that has a cute picture plus that parks name for $3.

Here are some I can think of:

At any of the kiosks at Animal Kingdom…
Animal Topper Sports Bottle $6.79

At the popcorn stands in any park…
Souvenir Bucket with Popcorn $3.49

At Prime Time and Sci Fi…
Mickey's Be-Bop Drink delicious cherry flavored Sprite with Dad's Glowing Electric Ice Cubes served in a souvenir cup $5.99

At Sci-Fi Dine In they also used to serve the kids meal on a glow in the dark Frisbee. I don’t know if they still do this or not.

At Cinderella’s Royal Table…
Bibbiddi Bobbiddi Brew - A frozen smoothie served in our Cinderella's collector’s mug. Take home a piece of the castle. $8

At Toney’s Town Square
That's Amore Cooler - smoothie del Giorno in a Lady and the Tramp Collector's mug $7.99

At Hurricane Hannah’s at the Beach Club…
Children's Beach Meal: choice of chicken strips or peanut butter & jelly served with chips, character cookies, sand bucket and shovel $5.49

Oh, and when I was in Tomorrowland in the MK I got a frozen cappuccino at, I think, Auntie Gravity’s and it came in a fairly sturdy clear plastic cup with Mickey head outlines all over it. It was so cute I washed it out and kept it although I don’t think it was meant for keeping.

That’s all I can think of for now.

At the Fantasmic show you can get a kids meal - PB&J uncrustable, juice box, teddy grahams and raisins I think - that comes in a clear plastic box with a Mickey/Fantasmic decal on it. It looks like a small lunch box and I think it's $5 or less. I don't even know if this is on the menu board but they always have them when I ask.

Many of the kids meals at the parks come in black plastic mickey shaped bowls. I've saved a few, they are reuseable, although I'd avoid the microwave. The Bibbidibobbidi boo mug can also come with soda or whatever you like. They just add three bucks or so to the cost of the drink. It's a really nice glass.

You might want to check out the Backlot Express at MGM - I haven't been there yet, but have read that they serve the children's meals in a Disney lunchbox that you can keep as a souvenir. Sounds cute! :D

Pizza Planet
Mug with Buzz and gang on it

McD's near Canada in Epcot
Incredibles Mug (Dec 2004)

Where's Sci-Fi dine and Beach Club? Thanks

The only thing is those cute little lunchboxes have to be carried around with you all day!
They are really nice sandwich boxes that you get with the kids meal. You can ask to have the meal without the box for $1 less. We did this the second time during the trip we ate there as we already had the lunchboxes. Even though we asked not to have them and didnt pay for them the meals were still served in the lunchboxes. :bitelip:

I'd read about those glowing ice cubes. Do you get to keep them, and if so, how long do they last? Otherwise, they seem awfully expensive just to entertain your kids for the meal!

No you do not get to keep the Ice cubes but you can buy them for either $4 or $6 apiece. They give you the cubes so you can fall in love with them and buy them. I have had my first set since Sept 2003 and they still work but I don't use them either.

Huh? I didn't see anyone leave their cube that came in the souvenier cup. Did the server actually tell you that?

Maybe a person can buy additional ones if they want, but I've also seen them at Target for a fraction of the cost and I wouldn't buy the drink for just the ice cube. My 5yo has two of the cups, though, and uses them at home for water. I might get another one next visit and then go through our "cup cabinet" and clear a bunch of others out.

I think you buy the cup and the ice cubes with the drink. You have to order them special, if I am remembering right... if not, I unwittingly stole them a couple years back. They still work, though we have rarely used them.

I've read that both Waterparks, TL and BB also sell the kids meals in a bucket with a shovel. HTH

I kept my ice cubes from our cups when we ate at 50's. I wasn't told we couldn't keep them so if we weren't allowed to . . . :(

we took our ice cubes from sci fi. we were under the impression that you paid for the ice cube with the drink. our server didn't say anything about giving them back, he showed us how they turned off and on!

This will be no help to the OP, but it does give me the opportunity to vent:

It used to be that at many restaurants at the Boardwalk, Epcot and AKL, kid's drinks were served in reusable plastic cups that had logos and characters on them. We would always take these cups when the meal was over and we have a dozen or so at home. Although this wasn't that long ago (we have a couple from AKL, which opened in 2001), I think they have stopped doing this, which is too bad, as the cups were awesome and make me think of WDW whenever I use one.
