We are going to WDW the 1st week of March (Mardi Gras). DH and I were thinking about getting a food and fun package. If anyone has had experience with that please let me know. We thought it would save us money to have some meals paid for in advance. I don't even know if this package still exists. There are 5 of us DH, me, DS (12), DD(9 & 6). Would it be worth the money for the young ones? The girls don't have big appetites.

Thanks in advance for the info.

The last year we were able to get the Food N Fun package was 1996. After that it became Deluxe Magic (all meals) and Discovery Magic (using "wishes" per day.) Now for 2003 they are doing Dream Maker packages (Gold, Silver, Platinum and Romance.) You can read more about packages on wdwig.com and probably here on the DIS.

Food N Fun was a great deal. I used it for 2 trips. The boats (you could rent pontoon, speedboats, etc..) and horseback riding alone saved $100's not to mention the food you could order! The first time in 1993 it was only breakfast and lunch. In 1999 we could use it for lunch and dinner.

Oops! I meant in 1996 we could use it for lunch and dinner. I also just remembered. You could even use your Fun coupons to rent the Breathless or a Pontoon boat for Illuminations!
