Food for infant on Cruise

Do you bring your own baby food on board for babies? I will be cruising with a 6 month old and was planning on bringing formula but was just wondering about the baby food.

We cruised with out 8 month old and brought formula and babyfood. Im not sure if they offered it on board or not.

We brought the ready made formula in the glass nursette bottles(like you get in the hospital) and it was the best thing we did! We didnt have to worry about mixing, measuring, pouring, storing, washing bottles, keeping cold or warming up. We just kept a zip loc bag with clean nipples in with us. When it was bottle time, we popped off the top and stuck on a nipple. Then we threw out the bottle. Also had a bag for the dirty nipples. At the end of the day all we had to do was wash the nipples. Those bottles cost more than the regular formula mixes, but the convenience while on vacation was well worth it. I know that doesnt answer your question, but it worked so well for us, I just wanted to share the tip.

They do sell types of forumla onboard but is very expensive compared to bringing your own. I don't remember is baby food was sold or not. The formula was for sale in Treasure Ketch shop.

Maybe someone closer to the situation can say for sure, but it may be difficult to get hot water to mix formula on Castaway Cay. I was standing next to a lady at Cookies who looked a bit frazzled about it (baby on hip, powdered formula in bottle). The staff was scurring to find out if they could help her. Don't know if she succeeded. (She did tell me that there were no microwaves onboard that were accessible to the guests.)
