food delivery available at BCV pool

Title says it all. We saw signs on the tables with a number to call when we stopped for lunch and another time for dinner at Y&BC a couple weeks ago. Has anyone used this service yet? I think it's another great amenity for BCV.

Its the room service menu and they bring it to the pool instead of your room. Certain items aren't available because glass can't be served on the pool deck. It isn't waitress service to your table/chair/lounge like you get from Hurricane Hanna's while over at SAB. In other words, its expensive but it is available, which is nice.

But thanks for letting us know BCV23. Fantastic. I've used this service at the Kidani pool (separate from the bar menu).

Thanks for the clarification. I wondered if it was from room service or Hurricane Hannah's. That does make it expensive but so convenient.

Whatever mod had to move this....sorry. Haven't been on the DVC forums much for some time and am not use to the new divisions.

the tip is surpose to be included in the bill - but their hand is definitely out - or it was for me at BCV

Hi Simba's Mom.

As Pat said, a delivery charge and gratuity are added as well as tax. I looked on allears which lists the delivery or service charge as $3.00 at Y&B Club. Gratuity is 18% but there is a spot to add more. My favorite room service CMs are those that point out gratuity is already included. I've never had someone like Pat did but would not add a penny beyond the automatic gratuity if I did.
