Food courts

Movies in 2017 had a very good dessert counter. Actually a good food court overall.

We loved the food at Pop, so many nice selections. We were not as impressed with the food at Riverside.

We liked Movies food court back in 2017 because they had a dedicated dessert counter and the shakes they made were fantastic.

We enjoyed the Mara at Animal Kingdom Lodge. It had your basics but a few unique items and the bakery was delicious. We've also used Captain Cooks at the Poly and loved it too. Lots of good solid choices and the pulled pork - yum! You can also get Dole Whip outside.

Food courts at the Pop and AoA (possibly the AS too) are open later than the moderates IME. Moderates were never open when getting back from park closing and the values were open, mostly allowing to refill mugs but also grabbing something to eat even if not every counter was open. The selection at the values is much better and gets less and less the more expensive the resort.

We really like AOA. Sometimes we drive over from other resorts to eat there.

Port Orleans. There is a station for make your own salad. You tell the CM what you want in it. There is a grill section for sandwiches. A build your own pasta. And a pizza section. BBQ ribs, Rice bowls, Fried Chicken, Blacken Ribeye, We get one salad and one pasta and it is enough to split between the two of us. The have a wonder dessert case. There are grab an go items such as cold sandwiches and snacks, cheese trays.
