Food court pizza and the dining plan?

Hi all. Forgive me if I'm asking a stupid question. I tried to search but didn't come up with anything.

I'm meeting some girls for a "girls' weekend" at Disney World in late January. On our first night, we're all going to be arriving at different times. One of them suggested maybe we could just get pizza at the resort food court for dinner. (Port Orleans Riverside, if it matters.)

This is only the 2nd time I've ever done the dining plan. How does food court pizza count? In looking at the menu online, I don't see individual pizzas offered. There are individual flatbreads (not entirely sure the difference), but the pizza offerings are "large cheese pizza" and "large pepperoni pizza."

I know that if you do pizza delivery, you have to use table credits for it. However, I haven't seen anything about food court pizza. Is it simply something you can't get (since it's not an individual portion)?

Has anyone ordered a "large pizza" at the food court with the dining plan? Thanks!

the large pizza is two credits. A pizza delivery consists of two single-serve, non-alcoholic beverages, two desserts, and one full-sized pizza. So not worth the dining credit. Personal pan flat bread isnt enough for one person let alone sharing it

I doubt that you can get a whole pie using one QS option.

I think we'd be fine using 2 quick-service credits for a food court pizza, but is that even possible? I agree that it's unlikely that they'd give you a whole pizza for one credit.

I think it's odd that there aren't individual pizzas available. Whenever I google or search this forum, I only find info about the in-room pizza delivery. And, I agree, I don't want to "waste" table service credits on pizza delivery.

So, I guess to rephrase my original question: "Is there a way to combine QS credits to get pizza at the food court? Or is it just not available on the dining plan, except for in-room delivery."

Where are you staying? Several of the value and moderate resorts have individual pizzas in their food courts. Not sure about the deluxes...never tried to get pizza at a deluxe.

Edit - just saw its POR you're staying at. They have individual flatbreads as well as a cheese pizza (on the kids menu) available (Per Disney's website), but if you're going to the food court there, there are lots of better options than the pizza IMO. They also have large pizzas, but I would advise paying OOP for those.

This may be a stupid suggestion but aren't you overthinking this? If you're going to be in a food court just let everyone get whatever they want and sit together. You didn't say you wanted room delivery. I would assume the person who suggested getting a pizza was just suggesting it because they thought it would be the simplest option but in this case it isn't. Split up for ten minutes and get what you want. No need to turn what was an attempt to just go with the flow into a big complicated ordeal and point of planning stress..

Agree. This is what I was trying to say above, but you said it much better!

You are over thinking this. Let everyone get whatever food they like in the food court (yes, individual pizzas are available).

Otherwise, take the boat to DSp and have WGPE or Blaze pizza.
