Just curious as to how large/what kind of variety of food does the POR food court offer? I guess I especially interested in the breakfast fare as I need to eat more protein (cottage cheese, eggs, or bacon, etc) in the morning or I feel a little light headed by the afternoon. I know that my DH, DS 9, and DD's 7 & 3 are not as picky and would be happy with just cereal, bagels or donuts, but I really don't like to tank up on sweets or that many carbs first thing in the morning. Since we will be staying at POR I thought this might be a good place to grap a quick breakfast on the morning that we don't have PSB and CRT. Any other suggestiosn for a good breakfast?

Thanks!

We did breakfast in the food court a few times and at Boatwright's once. The food was good. They had an ample selection of many types of breakfast foods...eggs, pancakes, french toast, etc.

One of the items I enjoyed was the breakfast croissoint....it had scrambled eggs, sausage, cheese on a croissont. Very tasty (probably loaded with fat, but we were on vacation...LOL)

They also had kids meals as well...my older DS 9 was more satisfied with an adult meal, but the kids meal was plenty for DS 5.

Boatwright's was very good too...and honestly, you probably will spend the same amount for a sit down as you do in a food court when all is said and done. They have an outstanding Banana stuffed french toast that was yummy...plus all the usual items.

We did Boatwright's for dinner once too, and we were very disappointed with the quality of the food. Breakfast was MUCH better!

We never ate breakfast at the food court, but we ate at Boatwrights twice. It was delicious. I had eggs once with the best potatoes and the other time I had sweet pototo pancakes - delicious. My kids loved the Mickey pancakes. Once our service was great, and we were in and out very quickly. The other time it was a bit slower.

The poster above is absolutely correct in saying that for a few dollars more you can eat at Boatrights (without running around like you do at the Foodcourt). We just came back and ate at both. If you want to eat better eggs and pancakes go to Boatwrights. They also have this unusal french toast that is dipped in cinomon and another stuffed with bananna. At the foodcourt, they do have cheeseplatters in the fridge, and fruitcups. It all depends what your family wants. I would try the foodcourt first, either way it will not be cheap but it will be quicker. We always went to Boatrights early and the service was very quick and it was much more relaxing.
