Hi!

Tikiman probably knows best, but; I would like to find a semi-detailed list of the evening offerings. My family likes variety and when we stayed at YC Conceirge we never made it back at night
to sample. What kind of food is offered at night? Also, what are the desserts? Examples please.

No, I'm not hungry. Just curious in a weird way. ;)

THanks,

Wendi

On Tikimans site there is a menu of night offering for Poly Concierge. I am leaving Sunday for the Poly concierge I will write down everything they have if you would like. I will be returning on the 9th of June and can fill you in then. Just let me know.
Hope this helps,
Sharon:)

I do have a list on my web page but they are down till Tuesday. The list is as of last summer. I will try to update it if things have changed when I am there in July.

DNSDisney,

That would be great if you could. I heard they have a variety, but would like to hear what it is.

Tikiman,

I guess I try hitting your site after it is maxed out. I will try again
later. Hopefully dnsdisney will give us an update.

Thanks! You guys are the best.

Wendi

Wendi , will be more than glad to do so. Anything else you want me to check on while I am there let me know.
I am going by Tikimans menu for my PS's and not planning to eat concierge on Monday but can stop by to check out what they are having. Monday is sushi night and my family isn't into sushi. The salmon rice cakes are great in my opinion though. You should of seen my daughters face last yr when she asked what it was LOL
She is a pizza, burger, and chicken finger kid!
the menu will be in my trip report went i return, probably will be posted monday night or tuesday morning (the 11th).
Well need to finish packing...
Can't wait to see the Poly and feel totally relaxed!!

Does anyone know what Tuesday nights offerings are at the POly. ARGH, I am getting so excited 11 days and a few hrs to go and I'll be in Disney:bounce: :)

DNSDisney,
Would you mind asking them about there strollers and ask them
if we are allowed to use them in the parks as well as resort travel.
Also, what kind of strollers are they (jogging, umbrella or standard). We have heard conflicting stories. Any info is GREATLY appreciated. Have a safe, fun and memorable trip.
Fill us in when you get home safely.
Thanks again,
Wendi:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I'll try to share what I remember from my December '01 trip. :) One night they had friend wontons (which might have had shrimp in them), pasta, and noodles (of a stir-fry sort). I'm sure there was more that I've forgotten. The desserts were delicious! They are small (so you can try one of each of course! ;) ). They had tarts, mousses in chocolate cups, and pineapple with caramel dipping sauce (like at 'Ohana). There were tons of different ones. The food at the Poly concierge was excellent!

I will check on the strollers. And I will check the board in the am before we leave to see if there are any thing else anyone wants me to check on.
I am so excited tonight it is hard to fall asleep!! LOL
Like a kid a christmas, my daughter also had a hard time getting to sleep.
Good thing my DH has no problem getting to sleep. I guess someone has to be the grown up here LOL
Let me know if there is anything else, should check back around 10am in the morning.

We were just there in May. The strollers are the jogging type and you can take them to the parks and anywhere else on Disney property while you are there. They lend you a stroller for the entire time you are there. The only problem is that it is first come first serve and they only have about 6 of them. My sister needed two but she could only get 1 for the first two days. You also have to leave a $250 signed credit card slip deposit, that they tear up when you give the stroller back. Some of the strollers have locks on them that you can use.

Hi We came back a month ago from concierge in the poly.

On sushi night I remember we had turkey/swiss sandwiches on white from the childrens table, strawberries, a platter of vege's and dip, a hugh bowl of cut up melons and pinapple, and crackers and cheese,
another night it was grilled chicken breast yummy sliced diagonal, romain salad, macaroni salad, the fruit bowl and vege platter, another night it was penne, and a huge container of olives, peppers all different types pickled, always the vege platter and bowl of fruit and the kids table had the large bowl of strawberries and the uncrustable peanut butter'/jelly sandwiches, one night they put out a huge bowl of chocolate pudding for the kids.

Oh yes, I forget the chicken lo mein, was nice another night.

Another night they had chicken wings, and the vege's and cut up fruit and crackers and cheese.

We were eating light cause of the heat so it filled us, you are allowed to go for seconds, the deserts at night are nice too.

Deb.

We are not fans of Sushi night, but we did pop in to grab a bit of Wasabi paste (Thick Green goop... very very hot hot hot) to spice things up on other days. (My husband likes to eat fire hot things and Wasabi is the good stuff!)

You Guys are the Best. I love being able to ask the most silly questions and get REAL answers. Thanks to all of you that have helped and hopefully we even helped someone else who was thinking the same questions.

DNSDisney, Have a Great Trip and let us know how it goes. Thanks Again, Wendi

If I can add one thing about the strollers... from what I remember (we were there in Sept.), they don't quite fit "nicely" in the monorail. You pretty much have to lift them a little. Not a problem if it's not too crowded (as I said being there in Sept, crowds were not a concern). If monorail was always crowded, I'd imagine it would be a pain.
Also, we had to fold them up to go on the boat and the train in the MK (rule fo Disney's). Many time we had to rush to do this. They are bulky/heavy. If I was alone with the kids it would have been a problem as I have a "bad back". It was a lot of lifting, and making sure things didn't fall out of the pouch.
BUT, the nice part was not bringing our own stroller, and it was very comfortable to push.

Anyone else have anything to add about this?

Wish I was going right now! Have fun...:)

Every night they have cheese and crackers and fruit out as well as some kind of sandwiches at the kid's table. Mexican night is basically cheese sauce/chips and a couple of other toppings. Italian night is pasta/sauce. I think Sunday night they had salad/grilled chicken. One night they had lo-mein and another night was chicken wings with 2 different sauces. They have 3 types of wine out and make sure to bring more as it runs out.

:)
