Food at IOA??? Any ideas???

Hello,

Can anyone recommend any good/nice palces to eat at IOA?

I have no idea where/what we ate in Oct 2002!

I am ok with everything except seafood. DF is far more fussy but generally goes along with me if I have a good suggestion.

We really enjoyed the Burgers at Burger Digs in IOA, no to mention the view of the park. It was nice to sit outside on the patio and overlook the park, while enjoying our food.

Same here...my boyfriend and I each had a turkey leg platter ($8-$9). The food was really good. The platter came with a turkey leg (duh!), corn on the cob, fries and a corn muffin. My boyfriend and I really could have shared the platter, they give you a ton of food!

Mythos is the best sit-down, full service restaurant in the park (and at any park, according to themeparkinsider). Oak Tree Tavern is a good place for a quickie meal not far from Mythos. They're both located in the Lost Continent. There's also a pretty good burger place in Toon Lagoon.

Another vote for Mythos. The food is wonderful and is not typical theme park food. The rissitto, wraps etc are all very good. I think next trip I'll be bad and just get soup and dessert since I'm always too full for dessert.

I've only eaten at one place in IOA. I can't remember the name of it, maybe Fireeater's Grill? Near Dueling Dragons. We had foot long hot dogs, and they were really good!

How late can you schedule dinner at Mythos?
Since IOA is closing at 7....we wanted to spend most of the day riding...and then going in for dinner as late as possible. Also, this will be on Mother's Day (and I'm the MOM)

If the park is closing at 7:00, Mythos probably closes at 3:00. They usually close early unless the park is open late. We have been there for dinner in the summer when the parks are open until 10:00. Call and see how late they are open on Mother's Day.

I would say either The Enchanted Oak Tavern across from Dueling Dragons or Thunder Falls Terrace beside JPRA. The chicken wrap at Thunder Falls is excellent!
