I spoke with a representative from seaworld and she told me that there is a set fee to eat all day at aquatica (19.95 for an adult). The website does not offer any info on the restaurants inside aquatica. Why does the website have such limited information. Yes, I know aquatica is not open yet however, I'm sure by now they know the restaurants inside the park. Linda

The fee of $19.95 is only for one of the restaurants. A buffet. (all you can eat.) They also have a healthy spot (wraps, salads, etc) and theres a gourmet pizza place. (the food is supposed to be better than average theme park food...so they said, but we will see.... :)

One cool place (not sure of the name) has picnic baskets and you get to "build" a lunch and have a picnic on the beach with your family or friends.

I think the buffet will be a good deal.

I have no doubt that the food will be better than typical theme park grub if Sea World is any indication. Their counter service offerings were heads above Disney's.

Went yesterday for employee preview day...

LOL, the "healthy" place also offers cheesesteaks, chicken strips and cuban sandwiches, so it evens out. ;) The food there is the standard cafeteria-style that you can find in the main park--think Seafire Grill or the Spice Mill. Honestly, I've never been a fan. Prices were right in line with the main park, as well.

Didn't go into the buffet restaurant, but was told they at least cook the burgers and such fresh on the grill there, which would be an improvement over most theme park food. As I recall, it offered burgers, "veggie burgers", bar-b-que chicken, potato salad, cole slaw, corn on the cob...and perhaps most importantly, includes soft drinks, which might make $20 a good deal after all. For $13, you can make a single visit, $20 you get a wristband that let's you come back all day.

Didn't see the picnic place (not everything was open), but sounds promising.

$20 including drinks AND a wristband? Now that becomes worth it. I was thinking it was all-you-can-eat, but a one-sitting deal.

D'you know how much the kid price is? $20 for kids is not a very good deal but I think I read someplace that the unlimited kid price is $10.95? If so, I'm so there!!

Didn't notice the kids' price, but will ask around, and will definitely be back the first week of March, can check then.

Thanks, Jason! We are driving from the Poconos to Florida on March 2, and it looks like we'll be buying the two-park SW/A pass and spending several days in your park. I know this is a new place and probably not much in the way of inside information has been developed, but if you picked up on anything during your employee tour of Aquatica, I would really appreciate your tips or insights! I will be with my hubby and kids, ages 6 and 3.

Jason. . .can you share any info regarding the cabanas??

Any info. you post will be MOST welcome I know!! :thumbsup2 We are all extremely excited to get any tidbits about this wonderful new place.

Thanks

This seems like a great deal in price for food. I wish they would offer this at other theme parks.

Again, I'm surprised this looks like a good deal to so many people here. I would be more impressed if the food looked as appealing and presentable as at most SW and BG restaurants. This looks like picnic food that is not worth $13 (or $20 for more of the same).

Gardener14, I think that most people think it's a deal because at some theme parks you end up paying $20 for picnic food anyway. At least at Aquatica, you get as much as you want for the same price.
