I only wanted one thing and didn't get it - the 11/2 beer regional feast. We are wait-listed and since it's only 2 of us, maybe it will come through. I need a little magic.
Please let me know your thoughts on the Signature Dinner at Jiko when you get back. We love the restaurant and I would be interested in knowing what this experience is like. Thank you!
Because the first signature dinners at Jiko were so popular..they now do them almost every month. Chef Annette plans lots of dinners at Jiko and they are always excellent..always.
Could someone post a link or tell me where I can get more detailed info on the PFTS and food and wine pairing events at the Food and Wine Festival?

For PFTS..you don't really get any information until you arrive. They are like a very large coctail party, you go from station to station trying the food/wine/beer etc. They food/wine offerings are different each Saturday night..that is why you see many people booking multiple Partys. No menus are relased ahead of time, after people start attending someone usually tries to post the offerings when they get back home.
For the pairing events...paid or unpaid..again..no menus available ahead of time. The more expensive dinners are sitdown rather than cocktail style.
Other than that..you just go and be ready for surprises!
