I'm not 100% sure whether I should post this here or on the restaurant board, but I thought I'd start here since it's a package. We did a trip for Food and Wine last year. They offered some kind of food and wine festival package. We did not get it, but I remember it was offered. I'm not sure what all came with it but I know some of it was access to private eating areas at the festival. Does anyone know if that's being offered this year? We've booked a trip for October but neither DH or myself thought about it until after we booked. I can't find anything on Disney's website about it, but that doesn't mean it's not there.

Generally, there are "special events" which can be anything from celebrity chefs, food and wine pairings, desert presentations, etc....all of which are fun and only offered to a limited number of people - I believe they try to package things together so they can presell the event each day. Is that what you were thing about?

You're referring to the Food & Wine Premium Package. It was new last year, and came with a special F&W MagicBand, bottle of wine, etched wine glass, truffles, $50 Disney gift card (good for food or product purchases), ticket to one Late Night Live! after-hours party at Epcot (valued at $75) which offered a dance show, live music venues, 1 free alcoholic drink (pre-selected by Disney) in a lighted party cup and 5 free food items from the 5-6 food booths that stayed open during the party, and finally, credentials to 6-8 private eating areas around World Showcase lagoon where CMs would take your order and deliver your food (no tipping). Private seating was open from Monday-Thursday of a one week period that you selected, from 12 Noon to 8pm. Cost was $199 per person.

There's been a few threads asking about this year's F&W Premium Package. Last year it was announced at the end of July, along with other F&W special cooking shows, demonstrations, etc. Many of us are anxious to hear about this year's packages, hopefully, again, at the end of July. If you subscribe to Disney Food Blog, you will receive notice of official Disney F&W announcements. Below is a link to one DisBoard thread about this F&W program:
