Food and Wine Festival?

Has anyone ever attended the F&WF? DH and I weren't planning on attending any of the signature events, but I was wondering if there are any tips or must sees during the festival. Also, does it significantly impact the crowd levels? Thanks!!

It looks like you'll be there around the same time as us! Last year we just happened to be at DLR during the festival, but this year we made specific plans to be there. AllEars has a lot of new info concerning the free and signature events, so I would suggest checking that out ahead of time if you really want to do something specific. They do free wine and beer tastings, cooking demonstrations and tastings, etc. If you enjoy cooking and food (we do) then I think it is definitely worth it to check out some of the events! The complimentary events take place in DCA, and I don't remember a real impact on crowds last year. I hope that is the same this year!!!

When is the Food, Wine Festival and where is it held? We've only been to the one in WDW, it's from early October through early November. We were thinking of going to Southern California in mid October..

Sorry, the food & wine festival is from apr. 11- may 5 at dca this year.

oh thanks, that's ok, there is PLENTY more to do there, and we've never been to DCA, so it will all be fun! Thanks though! Kelly
