What's different about this than any other day? I'm just curious because we eat and drink our way around the world every time we go and we've never been to the Food &Wine Festival. Does it get horribly crowded? The resorts are packed the end of Oct!

It's a festival. There is extra music and special events. There are booths set up serving samples of food and wine, ranging in price from $1.00 to $4.50. :)

Oh but the Food and Wine Fest makes EPCOT all the MORE fun!!There are booths set up all around WS with appetizer-sized tasting’s ranging from $1-$4.50 of food, wine and beer.Alot of these are countries that aren't represented at WS like Austraila,Chile,Ireland and Russia just to name a few.

Here's a link to the info we have on the DIS.It's loaded with all that is going on during the F&W Fest 2003.There's fun for the whole family!!http://wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/guides/epcot/events/index.htm

Oct. use to be a wonderful secret time at WDW but someone blabbed :p and it's become a popular time to visit the World!! The crowds are manageable but weekends are more crowded.

I think the resorts are booked because of the FTP offer that was a BIG hit this year.

ENJOY!!!
