We are returning to this event in November because we enjoyed last year SOOO Much!:)

However, We skipped some booths completely because there was just TOO much to try. We went our first day at Lunch and another day in the evening.

So how many trips does it take to try everything???;) :)

:D The booths can change each year so you will have to go every year! :D Dh and I enjoy the Wine and Food Fest so much that we now plan at least one WDW trip to be during that time.

We're staying for 10 days this year (our 5th year at the festival). We used to just go for the food. Last year, we really enjoyed the wine seminars. Save enough time to attend a few. I don't drink much but still learned a lot. If it is hot, the seminars inside the Odyessy restaurant are a great place to cool off. Get in line early - they are very popular.

My husband and I share about 5-8 servings per meal. I will often get my favorites many times. They have around 50 different samples so it would take days to try them all.

This is the one thing at WDW we still do commando style. That's because we go down only for a long weekend.

We try and do it in two days, that is sample one food item and wine at each stand.

That leaves us the other two days to sample the other food item and other wine at most of the stands.

Throw in a wine pairing, Party for the Senses, and a Signature dinner and we don't eat for the next week when we get home. ;)

Last year 4 of us went for 4 days we would each order a different dish and share it this was lunch and dinner it took us two days,
This year will be our second trip to the fest with 10 days to see it

Staying at the BWV also helps becouse we can come and go as we please can't wait:smooth:

Last Nov we went for 4 days there were 4 of us we would each get a different dish and we would all share,The problem is that there are to many great dishes,it took us 3 days to try it all well not all some things I just don't eat,but with all the tastings
and the seminars you will keep buisy , can't wait till

Hey, I don't need an excuse to keep going back! Can't wait! Just love the smoked salmon at Norway, and the peanut noodles at China. mmmm, I'm salivating just thinking about it! Then at the Party of the Senses (there will be 6 of us), we'll stake out a table and probably a couple of us will eat, while the others go "hunting and gathering." Can't wait, can't wait!!!! We're staying at the Swan, close enough to walk. Dh and I were lucky enough to get a signature dinner too, it's the one at Jiko Oct. 25th (I think that's the date).

We happened upon the first one by accident. We have probably been there during the festival five times or so. We usually go for twelve days so we hit the festival for a little while almost every day. I do make a pig of myself.

I am a sucker for anything on a stick or fried. They always have many choices.

12 days! I am green with envy!!! I THINK I could cover all the stands in that amount of time! It would be fun trying!!!!

We'll be there this year for the first time, how does it work are there food and wine samples ( as in free) ? Thanks.

Can you charge to your room when you are at the foodstands or is it cash only? I am going the last weekend (nov. 14) and can't wait!

Most of the food is $2-3-4 and the wine is about $3-4. DH and I shared each sample. There were 25 booths last year and each had 2-4 items and 2 wines or other liquors, beer, ale.
