Another Newbie question here  . Do you need tickets or reservations for this, or do you just go to Epcot on that day and enjoy? Any other info about it would be great!

Last year we went several days.

There seemed to be more food / wine and demonstartions after 5:00pm for dinner and such.

Deffinate hit. Good time.

One thing I noticed - last year we went on a weekend and their were long lines for the wine seminars/tastings that are free. This year went on a weekday and walked right in, it was about 3/4 filled. My personal opinion is Food and Wine Festival is more enjoyable during the week with the smaller crowds. Less lines at the food booths, better chances to find someplace to sit and you don't have to dodge so many people while walking through the crowds with a drink or food in hand.

Great advice, thanks!

F&W can't wait will be there tomorrow. :Pinkbounc

It is a really great event. I know some big cities have a "Taste of (your City name) event" We have the Taste of Buffalo every year, which is supposed to be the second largest (I heard Chicago has the largest). Anyhow, if you've ever been to one of these, the F&W fest is very similar.

We have some really great info on the DIS about it found here:
http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/guides/epcot/events/index.htm

There are some special events that require reservations. However, a majority of the event does not. I know we've gone the last 2 out of 3 years. My then 11 yr old tried Frog Soup (don't remember the fancy name) from France. I was gagging watching him. To each there own. I tried the desserts from everywhere.
