Food and Wine Festival and DP

Can you use any of your credits at the F&W? Who went last year and had the DP?

ME! ME!...Pick ME!! (Sorry about that...I am ready for bed and a bit loopy!)

We had the DP last year and used most of our snack credits for the Festival. I can't wait to do it again this year. I would use a snack credit any day for things like pistachio baklava, Scandinavian Meatballs, Mazurka....oh my! over a Mickey bar or popcorn....this is the best part of the DP and Food and Wine Fest!

We did this! I used snack credits for sample dishes all over world showcase; a chicken quesadilla in Mexico, a pasta dish and a cannoli in Italy... it was wonderful! Much better than mickey krispies!

Food & Wine Festival is actually one of the best times to add the Disney Dining Plan on to your Magic Your Way package because you can use your snack credits on the tastings at the various pavilions as well. I was on the DP during my last trip in October during Food & Wine, and I enjoyed being able to use the DP snack credits toward things like "Shrimp on the Barbie" and "Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup". The DP is definately worth the money, especially during Food & Wine, but if you choose to add the DP to your package, be sure to get your dining reservations in early as many of the popular restaurants fill up quickly, especially in Epcot on the weekends.
